EmployAbility Service Louth is part of a National Organisation of Supported Employment Services which is funded by the Department of Social Protection. Our trading company name is Co. In 2001, a consortium led by St. John of God Services (SJOG) was awarded FÁS funding to establish the Louth Supported Employment Service. In 2010, the service was rebranded as EmployAbility Service Louth, in line with the national rebranding of the FÁS-funded Supported Employment Programme. Since January 2012, funding has been provided by the Department of Social Protection. The service is overseen by a voluntary Board of Management, which includes directors and members from the following organisations.
The Role of the board members is to ensure that the business is run in an ethical, compliant and responsible manner and that the staff delivers a service of high quality to the public. The board is responsible for the management of Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, Client Services and liaison with DSP.
