EmployAbility Service Louth is part of a National Organisation of Supported Employment Services which is funded by the Department of Social Protection. Our trading company name is Co. In 2001 a Consortium led by SJOG (St. John of God Services) was granted FAS funding to set up the Louth Supported Employment Service. In 2010 our service was rebranded to EmployAbility Service Louth as part of the national rebranding of the FAS funded national supported employment programme. Since January 2012 funding has been provided by The Department of Social Protection. The service is managed by a voluntary Board of management comprised of directors and members from the following organisations
The Role of the board members is to ensure that the business is run in an ethical, compliant and responsible manner and that the staff delivers a service of high quality to the public. The board is responsible for the management of Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, Client Services and liaison with DSP.
